Past sins will be forgiven


Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: "Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven."

Sahih al-Bukhari, Book of Belief, Chapter: It is a part of faith to establish the (Nawafil) voluntary prayers during the nights of Ramadan, hadith: 37



Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying:

He who observed prayer at night during Ramadan, because of faith and seeking his reward from Allah, his previous sins would be forgiven.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever prays Qiyam during Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins."
