Hazrat Alhaaj Peer Lajpal Sufi Mohammad Shafi
(May Allah shower His blessings on him)

Qudwat us Saliken, Zubdat ul Arfen, Fakhar ul Kamilen, Sufi e Basafa, Hazrat Alhaaj Hakim Peer Lajpaal Sufi Mohammad Shafi Naqshbandi, Qadri, Mujaddadi, Azizi (May Allah shower His blessings on him) is the founding leader of Idara Maarif e Islam, an organization working for the promotion of peace and the revival of spiritual endeavor based on the true teachings of Islam. He was great scholar. He was living model of pure spirituality, love, harmony and humanism. He is well known for his passionate struggle to strengthen bonds among people, by bringing them together through tolerance, assimilation and education. He had been teaching Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh, Sufism, Seerah, Islamic philosophy to thousands of people.

He is the best example of all culminated attributes and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad P.B.U.H. The significant aspects of his life for instance intellectual extensiveness, following of Shariah laws, piety, simplicity and humility, Want Lessness from the world, spending for the sake of Allah, the exalted spiritual position and great love of Ahl al-Bayt.

He was Hakim by profession. Hundreds of his patients were recovered and childless couples were blessed with children by the grace of Almighty Allah.

He was great preacher. The way of discussion was plain, simple and heart piercing. His words were elf struck the audience, everyone understand that he cured him by knowing what is in his heart. There was huge gathering of audience during his lecture especially on Friday prayers.

He was born on 1937 in the historical city of Gujranwala. When he was only eleven years old, his father Karam Deen Dar died. After his primary education he did Bay ‘at (Pledge) in 1956 on the hands of great Sufi scholar Hazrat Hakim Peer Sufi Abdul Aziz Naqshbandi, Qadri, Mujaddadi, Nadri (May Allah shower His blessings on him)

He purifies him by putting under the trail of tentative and probation for 19 years. Upon completion, Peer Sufi Abdul Aziz nominates him as Khalifah in 1975 and commanded to serve Shariah and Tariqah, the mysticism (Sufism).

He founded Idara Maarif-e-Islam on April 24, 2009, an organization, whose purpose is to stop the wrong things and traditions about mysticism (Sufism) and to deliver the authentic knowledge in the light of Quran and Sunnah of Holly Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). He also laid the foundation stone of Grand Mosque Itehad-ul-Muslameen to eliminate hatred and division in Muslim-e-Ummah.
